March 25,2000 Olde Jamestown Hall
Hey everybody. We have some very big news for all of you. By January of this coming year, Exit-180 will officially be disbanded. After almost 3 years of being in the music scene Exit-180 will finally be laying down its instruments and moving on toward other areas in which God has called us into. Although this is very sad to all of us who have spent countless weekends at our shows or on the road with us, it is a very good thing as well. We made one commitment in this band, and that was that we would never let Satan tear our ministry apart, and believe he has wanted very much to do that for three years. Now, GOD is moving us on, and we hope that you will support that decision we've made. This is not a joke, and it is very official. You'll be hearing a lot more from us in the next month or so about our final appearance and more details of what we'll be doing. We do have just 2 requests from our friends now. The first one is that you help us make our final appearance (probably at the Pix in Lapeer) a memorable one by being there. More info later. Secondly, we will be putting up a new page on the website entitled "REMEMBERING EXIT-180." It will be a page somewhat like a message board, but more formal where each one of you will be able to write what Exit-180 has meant to you in the last 3 years and how God has used Exit-180 in your life. You'll just e-mail your stories, it doesn't matter how short or how long, to us and we will post them on the page. You can start now, or wait, but we will continue to post responses on through January, so take your time. Thank you all for loving and caring about other teens with us. Exit-180 is not dead, we will never die. Exit-180 will be a forever impression of Christ in Lapeer and other areas through the lives that have been touched and other ministries that have sprouted through the efforts of the band to let the underground culture of teens know that there is a God that loves them. Thanks to all of you for being a part of it. In Christ, Exit-180
